Watch Cases

watch cases

The look of the wrist watch case (the part you see on top) is one of the most attractive parts of a watch and it doesn’t even move ! With these as an example the metal can be gold, steel, titanium etc What is of particular interest to the watch enthusiast is that the automated tools to drill are set for the type of metal. So if it’s gold then the drills are set for that as it’s a softer metal than say stainless steel.

The problem for a watch manufacturer is that the “waste” or pieces that come off as the metal is drilled fall off and they are superfluous to what the maker wants. But worry not. Those gold pieces are collected, melted down and used again.
