The day begins at the hotel with transport ready to take you to the agreed watch maker, the Swiss watch tours guide and translator will make your visit into a memorable one!

Arriving at the manufacturer the visitors will be greeted by one of the watch brand’s senior representatives who will tell everyone where they will be going and some information about the tour. The party then starts the tour sometimes having to put on protective gowns everyone becomes excited at the prospect of seeing some very special processes and meeting the skilled personnel who make such beautiful pieces.

What you see is the fabrication of metal, the finishing off of parts, quality control and then preparation for assembly. But with so many parts and so many processes it can be weeks before a new watch is ready and then it will be rigorously tested before being certified as perfect. See skilled and qualified watch makers working at their bench assembling and checking each part, each step of assembly taking all the time needed to ensure that the watch is a perfect looking, perfectly functioning time piece that the buyer will be proud to own. Testing and checking the watches there is pressure testing including water, accuracy, function and finishing all to make sure that the Swiss quality is absolutely right. Finally the watches are carefully boxed ready for shipment to the destination country, no doubt for a watch connoisseur!
