ABOUT SWISSWATCHTOURS.COM
The tours are a full service top end tour for discerning people who love watches. From when you book in at the hotel until you check out, all your accommodation, food and drinks are included. We aim to give you insights into Swiss watches including a talk from a local watch historian, a talk and workshop by a fully qualified local gemmologist who works for the jewellery and watch industries. For years people have bought Swiss watches for their accuracy, design and appeal but have not been able to see where they are made or to meet the very people who make them.
The varied and technically modern makers have long histories from the days of the first timepieces and automatons made in farms in the Jura Mountains to what is now such a vibrant and dynamic industry. Sports people, Olympians, businesses people, airline pilots, astronauts, deep sea divers,Formula 1 racing teams and many others depend every day on the watches produced so carefully right here in Watch Valley! There are many facets to this special industry and its dynamic nature is so competitive. See and experience the challenging nature of the area, what others have not been able to discover, to see and to learn about, until now.

What a brilliant idea. I never realised where exactly Swiss watches are made. Now I know more about the area and I have learned a lot about the intricacies of Swiss mechanical watches. I’ll be back.

Fantastic ! I wanted to hear the talks about diamonds and the history of watch making. They were fascinating. For my wife the talk and workshop by the lady with real uncut stones was brilliant (no pun intended!). Thanks for a great visit!

I never had Switzerland, the region down as a place for gourmet food or fine dining. We all guess it’s about the cheese fondue and the chocolate but the restaurant we went to was awesome!
